Just a week before Joe Biden is to inaugurated as the 46th President of the US, officials have sent security on high alert as far-right groups are continuing to threaten plots against the new President. As the Capitol is now closed for the visitors, far-right groups are planning on carrying out armed protests in all of the 50 states of the country.

Even the FBI has sent out an official statement stating that: “Our focus is not on peaceful protesters, but on those threatening their safety and the safety of other citizens with violence and destruction of property.” The extremism of the far-right politics have prompted many social media companies to remove accounts associated with these people.
The outcome of the Capitol being stormed has fueled the fire among the far-right groups which shows how big of a threat they can be towards the people. These warnings have elicited all of the states to introduce emergency measures across their respective areas.
The state of Michigan has banned people from carrying firearms openly inside it’s state capitol. The Californian Governor, Gavin Newsom has also stated that the security was “on high-alert” for protests in Sacramento and that the national guard will be deployed if necessary!
Hoteliers and AirBnB has also stated that they have begun checking the people booked ahead of the inauguration as they will not entertain any unruly protesters. PayPal Holdings INC. also blocked a Christian crowdfunding site GiveSendGo who were collecting funds for the people who had stormed the Capitol last week.
