$2000 stimulus checks likely as Democrats take over the Senate

The $2000 stimulus checks are likely now as the Democrats are seen winning in every part of America. The fate of the Senate is now in the hands of the Democrats as both Reverand Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossof won over the Republicans in the Georgian race.

$2000 stimulus checks

Attention Americans! $2000 stimulus checks are coming!

As the Senate is now under control of majority of the Democrats, a third check is likely to be sent out to the taxpayer Americans. While the people were under the presidency of Trump, only $600 stimulus checks were sent out which did not sit right with a lot of Americans as well.

Kelly Loeffler, a Republican who ran against The Reverend Warnock, was left behind as she did not make the race with only 49% of votes in her favor! Loeffler was one of the politicians who backed President Trump’s idea to send out $600 stimulus bills.

President Biden himself stated that: “If you send Jon and the Reverend [Warnock] to Washington, those $2,000 checks will go out the door,” while addressing a campaign rally in Atlanta. He even added that: “And if you send Sens. Perdue and Loeffler back to Washington, those checks will never get there. It’s just that simple.”

What does all this mean for the future $2000 Stimulus Checks if the democrats take over? It means that the third checks are most likely to be passed but with one restriction, which is that ┬áSenate Republicans will still have the power to block legislation they don’t like.

Previously, the Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell had refused to bring a bill passed by the House demanding $2000 stimulus checks up for voting. But if Senator Chuck Schumer takes over as the majority leader, this bill will most definitely be up for a vote as Schumer told a conference that: “One of the first things that I want to do when our new senators are seated is to deliver the $2,000 checks to the American families.”
