On the 4th of July, Kanye West, 43, rapper, husband to Kim Kardashian, tweeted that he will be running for President in 2020 which caused a stir among the people as West was not joking at all. Amongst the hashtags saying Kanye for President and people trolling the rapper for this move, let’s see what went down with Kanye’s run for the presidency!

Even the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk had Kanye’s back while he stated that he will be running for President in 2020!

On Election Day, West tweeted regarding the Elections again which stated that: “Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it’s for someone I truly trust…me.”

West spent his recent weeks guiding his followers and supporters on how to vote for Kanye West for president as a write-in candidate in other states and later posted a video of himself voting from Wyoming, writing himself in on the ballot paper.

Although Kanye was really positive that people would really come out and vote for him, nothing of that sort happened. He received a little more than 57 votes in total as reported by The Daily Mail.

But this did not bother Kanye as he remained positive and tweeted that he will be trying again in 2024.
